Physiotherapy

Tots2Teens Physiotherapy provide services to babies, children and young people to promote health, and preserve and improve their best possible functional level and achieve their potential. Physiotherapists work jointly with other therapy services but specialise in movement.

We promote positive outcomes for children by using a range of approaches that are individually tailored to each child and family. This may include the provision of an activity plan, specialist equipment, treatment sessions or training to parents, carers and school staff.

Children’s Physiotherapists have a deep understanding of:

  • child development
  • childhood diseases and conditions that may impact on physical development and well being (check out our conditions page to find more examples)
  • therapeutic interventions that enable and optimise development and well being (click on our treatments for more info and case studies)
  • the need to place the child at the centre of planning
  • working in partnership with parents and carers and other colleagues
  • the impact that having a child with additional needs has on family life.

All Physiotherapists are registered with the national regulatory body, Health Care Professions Council (HCPC) which maintains an on line register of all Physiotherapists meeting the required standards. www.hpc-uk.org

Tots2Teens Therapy is registered with various insurance companies including WPA, AVIVA and BUPA. Please contact your insurance companies for authorization, but feel free to contact us to discuss this process further. We also accept payments from charities, schools, sports clubs as well as families who wish to privately fund their treatment.
